thank u for accepting my question about drug testing for your podcast. I do have a couple other questions but wanted to ask if it would be ok to send them so maybe at some point u could answer them before I become a bother. 1 has to do with the judging and the other has to do with fighters fighting in weight classes that are much lower than their normal walking around weight. let me know and I will send them in if it is ok. am very excited for this since big john and sean are very very knowledgeable in mma and combat sports and I think a lot of fans will totally love this.

Great discussion on the responsibilities of the inspectors. As a ringside physician, I absolutely depend on the inspectors to control who enters the cage, especially if there has been a KO. It’s hard to attend to an injured combatant if the cage is in chaos!

hi guys ! greetinsgs from France, where MMA is banned and it’s a shame. don’t want to make you feel old John, but when i was a teenager watching pre Zuffa UFC’s on tape, you were the scariest man in the cage. MMA logic of this eara: the guys who’s job is to jump in between the 2 fighters has to be toughter than both of them :D!
anyway, i really enjoy your podcast as i can train my english ( you both speak a very foreigner friendly english especially Sean) and get your point of view on the sport, aside from the hype and any kind of promotion. very informative, fun and refreshing :)! thanks again and thanks for helping building the sport. Cheers, Edouard.

Once again, a great episode with #58. I love John’s explanations to listeners’ questions (even CPS’s.) They are well thought out and informative. Keep up the good work, gentlemen.

What John said about the ringside doctor and ref needing to be a team is so true and is crucial to the safety of the fighter and the enjoyment of the fans. I’ve been a ringside physician for years in FL, and I have a wonderful working relationship with our referees. Being a team makes my job easier, the ref’s job easier and ensures the safety of our combatants. Thank you guys for all the work you do for the sport. Love the podcast.

I wrote a theme song for the UFC that I think Big John would like because the title is “Let’s Get It On’. Please pass it on to him.
I plan to record it in a few months. It will have a similar sound as the DMX song “What’s My Name”. See lyrics below.

“Let’s Get It On” (UFC 2-Minute Theme Song) by Stephen J. Sylvain

    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it on, Let’s get it on…
Stand strong, there’s nowhere to run in the octagon
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it oooooon…
Rare breed, love it or leave it, gotta see it to believe it
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it oooooon…
Blood ,sweat, tears and years of sacrifice, to get here
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it on, Let’s get it on…
It’s my time, that belt is mine, so get back in line
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it oooooon…
Remember my name, I’m on my way to the hall of fame
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it oooooon…
One on one, get ready to fight cause here I come
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it on, Let’s get it on…
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it on, Let’s get it on…
    UFC-MMA, Let’s get it on, Let’s get it on…
    CHORUS Repeat Fade

Wow, Big John is stepping back! Completely shocked!

That being said, I am excited that the podcast will continue and extremely curious who the new co-hosts will be. This is a new beginning and I, for one, can’t wait!

    Good luck with it, guys!
